Egbert still hurt?

Egbert is not good...the organization thinks very little of him anyways.

lol, just pour it on Royals, we deserve nothing less

Wow this didn't take long....how the f*** do we keep losing to the damn Royals?

Wow, he just gave up a very long homer. At least he knows how to lose in style.

Left handed Danny Wright on the hill

.5 back after today.

2003/4 all over again.

Monster shot.

we need some bean balls

What happened to Rocky Biddle?

To think that Ozzie let this kid face Morneau in that 5th inning earlier in the week.

Have a feeling this will be Clayton Richard's last big-league start.

Ever.

And none of those guys (except Liriano) has what you would call great stuff (compared with Floyd), maybe Baker is the closest, but he doesn't dominate with his fastball.

That's because their organization has what ours doesn't. That is, people who can develop young talent in the minors, pitchers who throw first pitch strikes, have developed secondary stuff, and keep the ball down, and good defense which covers ground to help.

Happy birthday to me from number 54.

Liriano looks SICK right now, ridiculous stuff

it's about time we let the Twins have first place, doesn't seem like we want it.

Jesus Christ. If the Count isn't ready yet...bring Broadway up

Broadway sucks also. If Contreras isn't going to be ready, shame on KW for not acquiring another starter.

Clayton Richard will have a boarding pass to Charlotte waiting in his locker -- unless they decide to send him to Birmingham.

Ever.

He might be quickly reaching Porzio status. Actually, Porzio gave us at least a couple of competitive starts, now that I think of it.

Well I'm not going to argue that decision, as well as playing Konerko today, was pretty damn stupid.

Ready for another 1-2-3 inning?

This is such an old team that's pretty stupid if you're not going for it. It's only going to get worse.

"The market was ridiculous and out of control".

"You can't trade away a dollar if you only get back 50 cents".

"We currently don't have the resources to make trades due to Duane Schaefer's tenure, and the lies of David Wilder".

etc etc.

Acquire another starter by trading Floyd/Danks or Buehrle and Fields?

That really wouldn't make much of any sense from a long-term payroll flexibility standpoint, and we'd still have a huge hole in our rotation, bullpen, speed and defense. And I think Josh Fields is quickly losing some of the glow....I wish we could have traded Thornton a month or so ago and Josh Fields in the off-season for more pitching depth, even though we won't keep Crede IMO.

2003 was a HUGE dissapointment.

2004 I accepted after Thomas and Ordonez were out for the year in July.
