Come on Thornton, please have your A game today.

there's runners on base, probably his B game.

per mlb.com:

White Sox to go with four-man rotation

Richard to make spot start Monday in Baltimore

interesting.

damnit....tough AB to gross....the 1-1 really looked like a strike...that got in javys head i think...thornton just needs to hold them to 1 here

By the end of this inning, we will be losing. This reeks of a loss. I'd like to have Thornton prove me wrong.

If Ozzie had ANY confidence in our bullpen we would have brought in someone out of the pen to start the 8th. Embarassing.

thornton stayed away with fastballs to aki last night....aki should adjust...matt is gonna have to get a slider over...of course hes falling behind now ugh

So everyone will blame Ozzie for staying with Vazquez when he'd barely thrown 80 pitches coming into that inning, right?

I guess if you want to quibble, you could say he should have been removed after the walk (2nd batter). But this is why no matter what Ozzie does, it's always going to be his fault, because we have no good options. We'll see what happens to Thornton.

Now, not only did he walk him, but Thornton's fastball is fading fast after so many pitches.

walk in a run matt, it's ok. it'll be attached to Javy's ERA, not yours!

seriously his inherited runs allowed stat has to be sky high at this point

gameday has his FB at 98

Good at bat for Iwamura here, I don't feel good about the results.

And of course Aki has a tremendous AB. This sucks.

uggggh

iwamura hasnt been able to catch up...but hes been just gettin a piece of them...matt is likely to throw a ball eventually

wow this is getting annoying.

throw an eephus

thornton has 0 confidence in anything other than the fastball...thats rather clear

Bust him inside!
