it worked so well because he was so intense and nervous-looking, then he unleashes this great line and it was just super effective. Shame the networks didn't cover it.

The networks are worthless. It's like watching NFL Gameday with 10 different analysts breaking it down.

 - Beijing - RSO's revenge... :D

There is a DISTINCT chance there will be more people at this rally then were at the opening ceremonies in Beijing.

Also:

The colorful Olympics opening night ceremony from Beijing on NBC averaged 34.2 million viewers, making it the biggest television event since the Super Bowl.

They might get close to that tonight across all the networks. I guess 28-30.

Dick Durbin on to introduce Barack.

Obama on soon. Should be interesting.

Anyone catch Richardson? I missed it.

You missed my favorite line yet.

I liked all the common people's speeches. They were funny.

I think so. Definitely a looker.

Thank you. Thank you very much.

That speech was everything he needed.

Damn, fireworks. lol.

Is it just me or does that "California" Obama sign with the red tint look like a Soviet propaganda poster?

It does. They should throw like a hammer somewhere on it or like something about "workers".

I mean, really. Whose idea was that? Even the art style matches.

what is this poster?

Hmph. Interesting. Quite a bit more about Senator McCain in there than I thought there would be. There were a couple lines in there that actually felt fairly personal, in particular the hit at McCain's questioning his patriotism.

Plus its from California. I've seen a right wing verison of it where it has hammer and sickle on it.

I love that poster. Aesthetically cool.

All of those things he said were responses to attacking points against him.

I thought the best one was his "It's not about me, it's about you" line.

I think CNN is going to interview that crazy Clinton delegate again.

The visuals on this were absolutely amazing.

Yeah, the Parthenon...hehehehe...

Seriously, I think they played Drudge for a fool on that again. Because it certainly didn't look like what he posted it was going to look like.

The stage looked more like a Washington DC "greco-roman" building than any temple i've ever seen.
