Wooohooo!! :headbang

I was having withdrawal pain.

Ok, now who broke it?

Good thing this happened on an off day!

It felt really weird not being able to check this site at all yesterday

No one in particular broke it, the post table crashed and it had to be repaired. The indexing took something like 10 hours.

Southsiders post table took 9:36, the rest of ours took 24 minutes.

:D

Is that why if i came to the site I saw an index of files?

Not exactly. We had to take the index file down that runs the board and because I didn't have another index file (until later in the day) you saw the folders.

This was a conspiracy by Barak Obama to stop us from talking about Sarah Palin's speech.

I cant tell you people enough of how BORED I was yesterday.

I felt so alone last night during the McCain speech. I think TPM may have blocked my e-mail (jk). I was e-mailing them every 4 minutes becuase I had no one to vent on. lol

On a side note: Wednesday night right before I went to bed I jokingly thought to myself... "damn. If I ever want to run for office and maybe president someday, I'm gonna have to hire a hacker to shutdown SoxTalk. Too much dirt on there". I wake up the next morning, go to work, pull up Soxtalk... and it's gone! Irony!! lol

It's sad that I barely survived without this site, but alas I did. I think I checked every 10-15 minutes just to see if it was back.

Yeah, Glad it's back up and running. I checked seriously every 5 minutes. Was so bored with all the rain yesterday.

ditto. I felt all alone. :(

I was looking for somewhere to enjoy Toronto's beatdown of the Twins and their bullpen with fellow Sox fans and the site just wasnt working...thank god its back

Out of instinct, I must have hit my soxtalk tab 50 times yesterday to come here. It was hard.

Huge, I would have been doubley bored today....Friday my output level goes down...

With the rumors going around about Quentin's health yesterday, I definitely missed this place. Like someone else mentioned, I clicked on my soxtalk tab about 50 times yesterday.

Haha, same here.

I couldn't sleep last night without my fix...

What a pisser of a couple of days here. But hey, I'm getting good at fixing things I don't want to know how to fix!

I appreciate everyone's patience. I *think* I saw what caused this and fixed it, but if we're down again, I have one more piece of work that I might have to do and that would involve taking the server offline all the way (all TCS sites, etc) but I'm trying to avoid that... just FYI.

Thanks!

I will say that invision support is the best. Seriously. Those guys rock.

I texted Jason to alert him that the board was down, so i kinda deserve credit for saving soxtalk, it was touch and go for awhile there.
