he's at 79 through 5, so definitely one more inning, hopefully 2 more strong innings

I realize Javy is pitching a shut out, but he and AJ are a tad "outside corner happy". Not going inside at all.

My mlb gameday just showed he was able to get those last 2 pop-outs to OC by ptiching inside?

The Blue Jays have not flown out in this game and have 4 infield pop-outs to go along with 5 K's. Pretty impressive he needs to get through the 7th.

Offensively the Sox need ot do something, anything to work the pitch count and get to the pen.

it's hard to win a game when you don't get a hit

just sayin

Don't they have the best pen in the AL?

Pretty close but I would like to see anyone different. Sox may not get ten hits total for the series.

i think the bluejays have the best pitching staff, statistically, in the american league

Didn't the Dodgers do it a couple months ago?

yep, i think so

i guess that makes it easy then, my bad

Talk about a playoff pitching duel atmosphere... for once I'd like to see Javy come out on top of one of these. Does anybody else get the sense the first run wins this matinee, and then a slugfest later on tonight?

Just cecking in: hope we get a hit today. Javy doing good too

Sometimes you just need to tip your cap. Now where did I put that puke bag?

Whew, I thought that was gone. One out in the sixth.

Not gonna lie, I thought that was gone

So did Hawk.....he sounded very depressed as soon as it came off the bat.

lind will probably try to go deep here, with 2 outs in a tiegame

1st and 3rd 2 outs, overbay coming up

Uggh. Cmon Javy. You know you can't let them score.

1-2 count, come on Javy

1-2, throw the straight change

edit: went with the fastball

Edited by joesaiditstrue

all FBs to this point 2-2

overbay didnt even flinch on that curve, maybe he's expecting a walk
