Smart play, he had nothing to lose and got away with it. Alexei picked up the ball very late in CF anyways, if he realize it right away there is nothing McD could have done.

It's really hard to describe this game. Errors, people stepping on people, poor umpiring, men left on bse, etc.

Just can't get a hit with RISP to save our lives right now. Thank goodness we have even a tiny cushion to work with.
