September 16, 200817 yr my dream scenario would be: 1) Just make the playoffs 2) Get CQ back as a pinch hitter for the post season (i doubt it, but u never know) 3) Our pen gets back on track during the final week of the regular season. 4) Pauly doesnt miss a step since his injury (we can see if this happens as early as tonite). Dont get me wrong I have hope. Esspecially with Minny going up to TB for 4 games. During those games we will be playing KC. Thats a BIG oppurtunity to FINALLY put a stranglehold on the division.

That is what decides the division IMO. If we can do what we damn well should, and sweep KC....We should be able to gain at least 2 games while they're in TB.

Not to be too picky here because I think most of us will think the season is over if we get swept by Minnesota but wouldn't the magic number for them be 4 and not 3? I'm looking at the records right now. Chicago 86-69 Minnesota 84-72 Our magic number is 5. But I think there's right now is 10. 163-84 (Minnesota wins)=79 79-69 (Chicago loses)=10 With my math the magic number would be 4. We get to make up the Detroit game if we're 1/2 game ahead or behind right? If it is totally cancelled, which I don't think is possible, then the magic number for them would be 3.
