With how aggressive the Twins are playing, they might steal 6 bases off of Gavin tomorrow.

Fortunately, though, we're matching their aggressiveness and intelligence.

What a total and complete indictment of this team's heart -- and the "braintrust" that assembled it.

I kinda think, if you see those shots of Ozzie, that he knows that his team isn't real interested in competing. He enabled some of that, with his bulls*** about needing to have a big lead before going into the Dome.

He's the one who showed no urgency in actually trying to win some games in the last month by letting Horacio Ramirez pitch in close situations. That suspended game vs Baltimore still ranks as the worst managed game I can ever remember.

Hawk is going insane.

So are pitchers hurt more the start AFTER they go on three days rest? I remember someone on this board saying that not too long ago.

Absolutely

twins don't think they're going to beat the sox - they know it.

But I think he knows that, without Quentin, the team lacks pop. And even with Quentin, Ozzie's team lacks heart. I think he's known that for awhile.

Ya think. I really hope KW does something about this in the offseason.

Between Thome, Konerko and Dye...I've seen more enthusiasm about a cold sore than that group shows.

But....they're veterans.

Line drive approach doesnt slump.

they are lighting buehrle up... we would never do that to a twins "ACE"

I take a drink every time the Twins do something Twinsy.

I really think Hawk will be wearing no clothes, screaming out of the booth, by the time it's over.

This team had plenty of heart and moxie until about the time Linebrink went down in late July. Ever since then, it has been a struggle, and our pitching has struggled much more than in the first half.

Buehrle just doesn't have it tonight. He's still in the game, but he has no absolutely no command/control. And the Twins can smell blood in the water.

Panic move to adjust the rotation last week -- total panic move.

11 if Hall is the catcher.

He already got the screaming part down earlier.

amazing...these "singles" that seem to fall in between outfielders...and now Puto is up and he s the king of cheap hits

Hawk is going insane.

He REALLY is. I don't think I've ever heard him like this before...

They also had Crede, who's one of those guys who has intangibles that winning teams need. Stat guys never get this.

That will be a scary sight with him being naked due to his constant boner at watching the Twins.

Fixed. Q was carrying this team and took the pressure of these underachieving pansies.

Soon he will begin arm-wrestling D.J.

Crede sucked this season after the first 6 weeks or so. His defense KILLED this team.

Can't they just make it easy on us and strikeout?

i really hope that's the case.

See Iguchi, Tad.

65 pitches. When's the last time Mark had that count through 3?

This is starting to remind me of that WS game that he just kept battling and keeping it close...although our bullpen then was SLIGHTLY better, lol.
