While I am thrilled by the result of that inning, I still find the fact that Dewayne Wise is leading off for a team that has a .5 game lead in their division with 5 to play extremely pathetic.

well I mean if it were Charlotte it would be acceptable

KW will acquire a real leadoff hitter this offseason.

Who?

Ribe!

Juan was busting his ass down that line. He's safe on a perfect throw i think.

Hopefully Nick Swisher singlehandedly killed the notion of a "prototypical" leadoff hitter being unnecessary.

....and ball 4 deflates the Hawk all over again.

He's going to have an aneurysm, you know that, right?

Walks in a 6-1 game are not acceptable. That's a perfect way of letting them back in it.

He might not live through the rest of the year.

Need a DP here, rub the pain we felt for 2 games in their noses.

DO NOT let them flip this lineup over Gavin.

How many innings do you let him go tonight?

C'mon guys , I didn't see one Q-ribe comment.

Nice strike zone Mike Riley.

120 pitches

This strike zone is no longer moving. It's horrible.

While all this is going on I'd like to say that I love how Ozzie used Wise. Pinch hitting him, spot starts, d-substitutions... But he's not a starter and at least in this 3rd game of the series after he's done nothing Swisher should have started in his stead.

2 out.

I hate Nick Puto.

edit: and the typo is intentional btw
