December 23, 200817 yr QUOTE (danman31 @ Dec 22, 2008 -> 08:51 PM) Even weirder: Missouri basketball is ranked in one poll. Of course that's weirder, the Gophers should be ranked so it isn't weird that they are
December 23, 200817 yr QUOTE (Felix @ Dec 22, 2008 -> 07:53 PM) Of course that's weirder, the Gophers should be ranked so it isn't weird that they are While I agree Missouri shouldn't be ranked, Minnesota hasn't really proven anything more. They beat an overrated Louisville team at home, Missouri beat an overrated USC team on a neutral floor. The only difference is that Mizzou lost to Xavier. The rankings suck right now anyway. Wake Forest is #6 on the grounds that they are 11-0 on the 196th best schedule in the country.

Wake Forest is #6 on the grounds that they are 11-0 on the 196th best schedule in the country. Check your facts. They played them at a neutral site in Arizona, which certainly isn't home for the Gophers. I don't think the Gophers should be ranked any higher than they are, but there's something to be said for an undefeated team beating a top 10 team on a neutral court that deserves a ranking. December 23, 200817 yr Anyone catch OSU on B10N last night? Pretty fun to watch freshman and sophs who were highly touted finally put it together with confidence.
December 23, 200817 yr I didn't watch it, but I have to thank you again for the link to Club Trillion. It's really fantastic, as is the continuous torture of Evan Turner.

It's really fantastic, as is the continuous torture of Evan Turner. Titus got in at the end last night, he clearly didnt want anything to do with the ball, or a rebound or an assist.
December 23, 200817 yr As most of you recall, I am currently forced to wear shorts that are so close to being pants, I have started calling them shants. And as those who are close to me know, my main goal in life is to bring short shorts back into the fashion forefront. So you can clearly see how a conflict has manifested. Pictured below is the contrast of an ideal world and the harsh reality I currently live http://clubtrillion.blogspot.com/2008/12/short-story.html This is a funny statement about those Nike Uni's that teams are forced to wear and what they think about them. Diebler on OSU made the uni folks trim his shorter even.

His post today indicates that he got a steal, meaning no trillion for him. He did say the crowd booed him when he got it though, which I find hilarious. Edited December 23, 200817 yr by Felix
December 23, 200817 yr I honestly watched the last minute of the Ohio St game instead of the Bears game so I could see Titus enter the game. I was disappointed when he stole the ball. I'm definitely claiming him for my college fantasy basketball team for the last game of the season.

December 23, 200817 yr I can't wait for OSU to come here just so I can yell random things at Titus about Club Trillion.

Ok, but still Louisville lost to Western Kentucky and the Cardinals' only legit win so far is Ole Miss. They're not a top 10 team.
December 24, 200817 yr Much like I told Dan, I'm going to take Greg McDermott deep into the woods and leave him someplace where he cannot keep hurting our basketball program. Losing at home to the South Dakota State Jackrabbits. Ugh.

December 24, 200817 yr QUOTE (Jimbo's Drinker @ Dec 23, 2008 -> 07:45 PM) Looks like Mizzou is not as good as you thought. Muck Fizzou. I'm pretty sure I said they didn't deserve to be ranked and if you asked I would have said they aren't any different than the last couple years.
December 24, 200817 yr Missouri's performance tonight was one of the worst I've seen. Poor shooting, terrible defense, and literally passing it to the media table. On the other hand, the Legion era at U of I might be funny. He's already pouting on the bench, as he was the only one not standing/cheering with the rest of the team. It's ok, his family thinks he'll go pro early.

Him and Calvin.
December 24, 200817 yr QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Dec 24, 2008 -> 02:12 AM) He has never cheered even before tonight. Him and Calvin. Legion seems like a delightful teammate. He's basically the anti-Chester Frazier in every aspect.
December 24, 200817 yr QUOTE (fathom @ Dec 24, 2008 -> 02:15 AM) Legion seems like a delightful teammate. He's basically the anti-Chester Frazier in every aspect. His mom with her magical powers has envisioned his college career cutting down the nets with the Illini so I guess it's an even trade off.
