Alexei with the #5 Greatest SportCenter Highlight of 2008

Featured Replies

With the infamous Glove flip to Pauly with the barehand play. It was the highest rated highlight for any baseball play.

Top SC highlight of the year was Michael Phelps with the come from behind win by 0.01 in the Olympics. #2 was Eli Manning to Snee in the Super Bowl.

nice, i'd love to see that highlight again

There you go (link).

Negandi said it was the best defensive play of the year.

That was pretty sweet. That also reminds me of Goochi's

I was hoping that play would make the list.. I remember it being #1 that day and week on the top 10 plays, and listening to the Sportscenter Anchors just laugh in awe of how awesome the play was.. Glad it made the list for the year, maybe next stop is the ESPYs.. hah!

Unbelievable. The timing on that is just unreal....and for Pauly to somehow even catch that ball...wow!

Man, that would have been a crazy ass play if it was to Snee. First they would have had to line Snee up in an elligible spot, and then he would make the sickest catch ever in the history of linemen...

And I still think the Jazz were robbed in Game 6 of the 1998 NBA Championship. I'll always feel that way probably just like you, but it won't change anything, so I've accepted that the Jazz lost to the Bulls, haha. The Bulls were a better team.

I'm still trying to figure out why Konerko used his hand instead of his... GLOVE!

Probably cause he was so shocked that Alexei actually flipped him the ball. He just reacted.

Let's move Alexei to CF! Chris Getz would own the s*** out of that eleven times.
