first they starte dripping cox for holding dye, saying dye had a good bead on the ball and it bounced twice, and that you HAVE to head home on the second bounce on that type of base hit

 

then they started ripping the team speed saying it's ridiculous that you have 3-4 guys in a row with no speed, and 3 straight base hits can't score a run

 

then they started saying how 2 runs on 9 hits is unacceptable, we should have 4-5 runs

If we get enough pitching to win games like this...then we're in good shape for the season, because there's going to be a lot of games where we're going to torch people. It may not be as pretty as 2005 but it can work.

Im really starting to become a Josh Fields fan. He looks like such a better hitter than his rookie season, even though the HR's havent come as of yet.

For all the crap that is our offense, we should really give props to Josh Fields and his approach so far this year. Color me impressed.
