So Ramirez puts on an OF show and the woeful defense takes a blow by putting Nix in LF.

Is the managing of this teamg becoming inept beyond message board banter or is it just me.

Betemit is a better option than Fields right now.

The personnel moves within this organization for the last four months have reached the status of those made within the movie Major League.

What do you mean, ramirez puts on an OF show?

Sox go 1-2-3 in top of first.

Gameday had Richard's first pitch about 3" over the plate and well above the knees and it was called a ball

Another stellar start here.

Game over. Season over. See you guys in 2010

Great start Clayton

there we go

What's going on? Gameday has most of Richards pitches in the box but are called balls.

15 pitches, 4 strikes

Gameday had 2 balls in the zone v. Scutaro, 1 v. Rios, and 1 v. Wells.

Yeah, does anyone watching/ listening know if he's getting squeezed?

In yesterdays game thread or somewhere within the site Cowley talked about Ramirez shagging fly balls and putting on a show at chasing everything down.

It truely is amazing what can happen when you let a pitcher who is not ready to start get themself in trouble.

Wow Richard able to get out of that inning unharmed

Maybe this will be the turnaround point then? And not the ranaground

Richmond has a 92 MPH fast ball and 86 MPH change up? I am not watching the game but that doesn't lend itself to much success....after today that is.

Great pitch to swing at on the first pitch AJ

I hope things get real bad. I know it's not the NBA, but a message has to be sent that this team needs to spend when some of that money comes off the books this offseason.

No it's an 86 MPH cutter that is pretty nasty to righties actually

Your are right to clarify "after to today". Sox hitters are mesmerized up there by this phenom
