danks command has been horrendous....when he was in his groove last year he could place his fastball and change at will

 

Quite simply, he's pitching just like he did in 2007. We just have to pray that 2008 wasn't a fluke.

Wouldn't it be sweet to get shut out in back to back games against pitchers that started with ERAs over 5?

He's been just as bad lately, he just faced some bad hitting teams against LHP. This Indians lineup matched up great against him.

Poreda with 7 Ks in 5.2 IP....unfortunately he's continued to be wild with 5 BB....hopefully his increased BBs this year is due to trying to get a hold of his offspeed stuff, cuz last year he had pretty good control...this year its been less than good

It's not even exciting to see Beckham at the plate anymore. His at-bats have been brutal and have displayed no skill whatsoever. I'm not demanding he start hot out of the gate, but is a "productive out" too much to ask for? Take some pitches, take your time, take some good swings. Haven't seen enough of any of the 3. It's frustrating.
