Oh, clearly Ozzie should have pulled him, but I can't blame Ozzie for starting Liney and regardless I fault Linebrink for not getting the job done. Ozzie should have went to the pen though after Liney started to suck.

Figures all of Soxtalk wanting Ozzie's head when a player can't produce.

 

Really blame Ozzie? He's managed two great games... be pissed at Linebust.

There is no excuse for not putting in Thornton after the Lee homer. Absolutely none.

I dont care if I should be able to retire 3 batters, as soon as you see that the pitcher you put in is not going to be able to do that, you f***ing yank them.

 

How many games have the Sox lost because Ozzie goes to Dotel or Linebrink first, and then calls in Thornton when its to late.

 

Its not like Thornton has been over used, its just f***ing stupidity.

Look up Linebrinks stats people. Over his whole career he has sucked in the second half. This is no shocker.

I hope they use Thornton in the bottom of the 9th if it's tied over Bobby...maybe even Dotel, but definitely not Jenks in a tie game.

Ozzie's biggest issue, or to me it is anyway, is that he always leaves a guy in for too long. It happens with Buehrle the most out of the starters it seems like, and Linebrink the most out of the bullpen.

I hate Ozzie's use of Thornton so much.

 

After the 3 run hr, you have to f***ing pull Linebrink. He pitched a ton of pitches and wasnt even good.

 

How can every Sox fan understand this, but f***ing Ozzie screws it.

 

4 runs in 1 god damn inning, Id rather have f***ing brought in Jenks when it was 5-1 still and 2 men on base.

 

It's drives me up a wall that Ozzie didn't use one of the two best relievers (IMO Jenks or Thornton) when the best hitters are up (i.e. the heart of the order).
