July 3, 200917 yr QUOTE (klaus kinski @ Jul 2, 2009 -> 08:02 PM) I'mm feeling like a "buyer" Where would he (aka anyone) play?
July 3, 200917 yr QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 2, 2009 -> 10:19 PM) Where would he (aka anyone) play? Another #2 or 3 starter caliber pitcher wouldn't hurt at the tale end of the rotation...
July 3, 200917 yr Mark should be our all star. There only will be room for one with all the Yankees and Red Sox talking all the spots. Great win. Love Mark Buehrle and Bobby is so damn reliable as a closer! Good to win a boring game.
July 3, 200917 yr Great to see that the Sox are getting back to their winning ways, keep it going, SS Hit Men!
July 3, 200917 yr The offense should have done a lot more against the awful Bruce Chen, but fortunately Mark had their back. Just keep winning games.
July 3, 200917 yr QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Jul 2, 2009 -> 11:00 PM) The offense should have done a lot more against the awful Bruce Chen, but fortunately Mark had their back. Just keep winning games. Should have, but it was predictable that they wouldn't. They win the game however, and that matters most. During the broadcast I thought I saw our next 6 after this one against KC and CLE before the Twins. Having won 6 in a row, I like that lots.
July 3, 200917 yr Chen is awful, but we did have a lot of lefties in the lineup. At least we beat the s***ty pitcher, unlike earlier in the season when s***ty pitchers beat us.
July 3, 200917 yr QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Jul 3, 2009 -> 12:15 AM) Watch us score 5 in 4 innings on Greinke tomorrow. That's what makes baseball awesome.
July 3, 200917 yr The good news is Greinke can't do much better than Chen did. It was 1-0 what into the seventh? I don't think we're gonna score much if any off him. It's a holiday crowd and he's great this year. We need Danks to pull a Buerhle and keep us right there.
