Kate Beckinsale returning to the Underworld universe for the 4th movie.

Skintight Leather FTW!!

3rd movie ruined it with all the plot holes.

Finally saw Hurt Locker last night and really enjoyed it. Very interesting take on the war and suspenseful movie.

Im looking forward to this now

Yeah, I'm not going to tell my kids the Last Airbender ad is coming on during the Super Bowl, and it will be a nice surprise when they see it.

Coming out at least 6 months earlier than originally predicted.

I am very interested to see M Knight out of his element. And I already like the dark tone of the movie in the commercials

What movie is he directing? I've said before, I think he's a phenomenal director, and just needs to get away from his own writing for a while.

I just showed you, buddy. The Last Airbender :)

This guys wife cries at the end of EVERY movie. This is after they watched my favorite movie, "Back to the Future".

So I think that I like every iteration of Robin Hood that they have put on film, from "Prince of Thieves" with Costner to "Robin Hood: Men in Tights" to the Disney cartoon version and the Errol Flynn version from 1938 that I watched on TMC tonight. It's safe to say that I will like the Russell Crowe version this year as well.

PS I watched two very good documentaries tonight "King of Kong" and "Food Inc." both were very good looks at very different topics, competitive Donkey Kong and the American food industry. Food Inc really opens my eyes along with the documentary "King Corn" about what really goes into the food that we eat every day. I would suggest either one to anyone.

Competitive Donkey Kong, perhaps?

I thought this after The Village. I did not like Sixth Sense but did like Unbreakable. Visually, the guys does a good job without CGI and I respect that, but his writing leaves a lot to be desired.

This isnt his material. I am going to give him a chance since he isnt writing it

I can't recall seeing something as painful as that flick. Perhaps 'Step Brothers'.

My ranking...

1) Inglourious Basterds

2) District 9

3) Up In the Air

4) Precious

5) The Hurt Locker

6) Avatar

7) Up

Haven't seen:

A Serious Man

An Education

The Blind Side

Updated after seeing Up in the Air.

I would bet some stones that avatar wins best picture. The oscars like to seem hip, hence crash winning best picture.

Avatar = hip?

I'd think a Tarantino picture would be more hip than Avatar.

yes. when you are that removed, picking a piece of s*** "looks shiny" movie is about as hip as you can imagine.

Avatar = piece of s***?

I might not go that far but it's incredibly overrated. It gets by completely because of its special effects IMO. Completely unoriginal storytelling that's also quite predictable.

"Brooklyn's Finest" peaked my interest and the trailer makes it look really good.

I know it is up for Best Picture, but I was shocked as to how much I liked "Blind Side." I thought it was going to be another cliched sports movie, but it obviously isn't done by Disney. Football isn't even that much of a story in it.

Also figured Sandra Bullock was just getting nominated as a "Thank You" from Hollywood like when Julia Roberts won, but she was very good in it.

Not better than "Hurt Locker", "Up In The Air", and "Inglorious Basterds", but I liked it a lot.

It looked like a terrible movie. There's no chance in hell I will ever see it.

If you liked the movie though, I strongly recommend the book. You might actually get the whole story that way.

Note: I have no problem with movies chopping storylines from books, but if you're going to do so, I only ask that you change the name of the movie; that being said, I obviously haven't seen the movie and am making assumptions (which have been reaffirmed in conversations with others who have seen it) based on the trailers.
