It doesn't matter. JR will open his checkbook as wide as it can go for this guy when he has to. Beckham is a guy if he remains healthy, who will be with the White Sox 15 years.

This guy is a franchise player.

It's okay to fall asleep when you're up by 10. Don't tell that to the Twins though.

What's your take on his future position? 3B ? 2B? SS?

Alexei is the shortstop until he's traded so I'm going to say 3B. I say that because I ultimately feel that Viciedo ends up in LF or 1B and I think that is the reason Brandon Allen was ultimately exendable.

Its better that Gordon just had a f*** up... doesn't affect the game and will hopefully keep him humble and focused going into tomorrow.

See: Silver Lining.

I keep pointing this out...right now he's already hitting doubles at a higher rate than anyone else in the league, and he's got 5 HR already to boot. Add some muscle in a year or two and even fewer of those doubles will stay in the park.

I don't think he has to add any muscle to become a 30-35 homer guy. He can "finesse" them out of the park like Mattingly. Didn't he lead the NCAA in long ones last year?

Mop Up Man Jenks comes in

Haha. Gordon looks so sad now.

BOBBY in non-save situation? We're screwed.

Why is Jenks in?

Mark Kotsay is a really cool guy.

what did Kotsay say to Becks?

What did Kotsay say before "but we'll let that one go"

Viciedo's a bit small to play 1st.

He'll stay at 3rd . He's adjusting nicely already.

Obviously they want Bob to get some work with his woes of late.

So based on the +10 run spread in this game, Baseball Prospectus will give us another 10% chance of winning the division.

Why is Jenks in?

Because he clearly needs the work.

I think it was, ”you hit two doubles, and a (inaudible). We’ll let that one go.”

Kind of dumb to put in Bob though because he ought to just be throwing meat over the middle of the plate and let them get themselves out.

nice out by dirty .230

Hah, Swisher. I can see the hate, i really can.
