Masterson won't likely go more than 5 innings...they have him on a pitch count tonight as they are stretching him out. I think Hawks said he'd go 60 pitches tonight. He's a good looking young arm no doubt.

Contreras really needs to step up tomorrow. If he goes out and has another dud, then you're really looking at some pitching issues for the next few weeks. Contreras has been solid against Cleveland in the past, so I'm optimistic.

I don't want to see Torres start another game for the Sox this year.

I know that was a piss poor outing by Torres, but the Charlotte Knights pitching staff didn't lose the last two games for us either...All of our starters other than Gavin seem to suck anal warts lately...
