August 31, 200916 yr It would be nice to see Flowers and some of the others they call up do well. I'm not saying the Sox can get back into it, but the games will probably be a little more exciting to watch.

Less likely that it would be Paulie, since they'd have more time to work out a trade, but if Thome wants to play for a contender now would be his chance. Basically throw em on waivers, see who claims up, put together whatever deal you can and get something for them.

August 31, 200916 yr Is there room on the 40 man roster? Cole Armstrong is going to play for Canada in the Baseball World Cup, so that's probably why Flowers is going up. Congrats to my boy, T-Flow.
