Bout time I only have one final too.

 

I'm sure I'll miss it, excluding papers, tests and projects.

 

 

Have a job at the moment but I am looking, have had four interviews last week and two this week. Not worried at all since I have some income coming in and no loans/debt.

I just graduated on the 15th (online school, actual ceremony was in VA and I coulda drove but didn't feel like it) and holy s*** it feels great to come home from work and be able to do what I want.

We'll see where I'm at in a few years. Maybe I'll chase a girl, maybe I'll get lucky and work for the White Sox. Or I'll continue on in school. It really doesn't matter as long as I can support myself.

I've been working for a year and a half now (graduated may 08) and am just looking to go back to school now.

 

I got my bachelors in economics, but looking to get a masters in M.I.S. or some technology gig.

 

I'm in a sales/retail/management position now and just don't know how much longer I can do it.

I know a guy who felt the exact same way and then went back to school to become a fireman. I don't know if there's a perfect job for any of us.

Work... Internship for 6 months with GE, and then 2 more semesters of school. Hopefully I'll get a full time job after that and maybe go back to get an MBA in a few years.

I'm graduating in May. Already applied for an internship with the Twins so ideally that'll come through, but I can't apply for other baseball jobs because they'd be out of town and I still have classes to take next semester. Otherwise I might be waiting until NBA season to get a job, likely with the Timberwolves (although I'll certainly apply to a number of NBA teams).

Step one was landing a teaching position

Step two will be grad school, still deciding on the subject. (English, Psychology, or Education)

I would just say to everyone graduating and looking to start their careers, the key is to remain flexible in your career choices. You never know where your career will take you, so just remain as open minded as possible.

It has to fit your personality and be the path you are comfortable with. Jumping around and doing a few different things resulted in my not getting further than if I concentrated in one area or industry, but I enjoyed dabbling in a bunch of different areas. I've worked in the US and Mexico, made trips all over the US, taught surfing and sailing, and a few more jobs in between. Seems I get bored in about three years and need to move on . . .
