  • Ok, so can I resubmit my advice politely? You didn’t just take out the mean parts, you took out everything. @SoxAce, don’t abandon your child. Take responsibility for what happened. You might not

Well, I'll skip the lecture about the "I'm sure it will be fine, I haven't gotten anyone knocked up yet!" attitude you had and skip straight to the idea of abortion. I think you should absolutely

LOL! SHe was far from bored at the moment

Yeah threesomes are cool if it's just two people of the opposite sex you aren't serious with and are looking for some fun, but if you're in a serious relationship/married, that can be a bit messy. So I'd agree with those that suggested you proceed with caution.

Forget that. Life is short. His wife made the suggestion. So she's obviously cool with it. Go full throttle with this. I'd be on craigslist right now if it were me.

Don't do it.

It's not worth it.

People always think they can handle this s*** and they never can.

Agreed. If you're doing a threesome, do it while you're single and with people you aren't really interested in dating. Otherwise, disaster waiting to happen.

I don't know the details of your guys' sex life or what not ...but maybe you should try other ways to "spice it up" before you go that extreme ..I'd hate to see something happen to a perfectly good marriage for the sake of the bedroom activity. You don't want something to happen that neither of you can take back or get over.

And may I ask you a personal question? I mean ..you did bring up your sex life on Soxtalk so it's really not that personal considering!! LOL

You say you would minimal contact with the other woman ...why not just sit back and watch your wife and this other woman?

Minimal contact is still a big deal ...could you let another man slap your wife on the ass while she was ..uhhh ...doing stuff with you?! That's pretty minimal and I'm betting you would probably break the guys hand! lol

I can barely handle one woman as it is. But having two in the equation?! I'm not Superman.

Yeah, that's another truth, my friend.

Haha at least you are willing to admit this (I'm right with you on it as well). I think this is true for just about all of us, but a lot of guys won't admit it.

Sober? This is true. Get me liquored up? It's on like Donkey Kong.

I'm with ya on this one!

It's hard to say how you would feel about something like this until it's happening and by that point, should it make you ill, it's already too late to take back. Also, it often times leads to affairs and what not ..it's just not a good place to go once you're married. When you're single ..GO FOR IT ..but once you're married (or really serious) it's time to hang up the whole 3some fantasy!

I just want to point out that never, in a million years, would I consider a threesome now that I'm married. Never.

The Bulls have done them in the past.

QUOTE (iamshack @ Aug 3, 2010 -> 01:42 PM)
Let me make clear that I do not have anything against people who get married.

What pisses me off is the married people who look down their nose at unmarried people.

And let's make another thing clear, the latter happens a hell of a lot more than the former.

Truth, and you know a majority of them are just jealous because they are miserable.

I understand there are many happy married people. But from what I see, the final act of legally binding two people actually makes the situation worse. Then you feel obligated to do things for each other instead of actually having the desire to make that person happy. Alot of people I know who are married or are getting married went down that road because "I am at that age" or they were guilted into it by their partner. At the same time if you DO decide that marriage is right for you, decide because you want to be in that for life, not because you are 30, or because you just think thats the next step. Divorce is HELL on children and I am seeing too many people figuring out after they've had kids that the whole marriage thing isnt going to work out because they really dont care that much about their partner. IMO, thats complete Bulls***, and if you've taken that step, thats it for life. /rant

Oh, and I'm one of those people that isnt crazy about the idea because I think that sometimes people can care about each just as much if not more than people who enter a legally binding contract. With that said, I would be willing to get married to my current gf, but one of my stipulations is that I will take that step when its legal for all people who want to be married to get married.

And my only relationship advice is, the person you should be with should love you for who you are. You dont need to become a identity-less "WE" who disappears from existence because you got a GF or got married. If you stay true to who you are, you will find the person who compliments you and who you will never want to leave. If you arent currently with a person like that, leave, there are millions of people out there.
