February 26, 201016 yr Nice "scandal" they're trying to create with the Canadian women's hockey team. So if I get this right: they're in trouble for drinking beer and smoking cigars on the ice of an EMPTY ARENA when nothing was televised because "that's not the image we want to portray". Again, EMPTY arena other than event staff and media. Not one impressionable corruptible child to be found in the entire arena. Also, NOT ONE WORD of outrage over the champagne they were drinking on the ice, in uniform, at the time of The Great Beer and Cigar Scandal of 2010. Why is that? Because champagne is the accepted beverage of celebrations, and beer isn't? Sounds like a whole lot of nothing to me.
