From browsing through the past threads, we have a thread like this every year here. Some earlier (last year it was Feb. 1st) some later (couple years ago March 22nd) so I figured this is a good date to do it, since we don't have one. Unless KW brings in another bat before the season, this will be the team we see opening day. This year might be the least amount of holes/guessing I think I've ever seen here, but there are still unknowns (DH still, though Ozzie said Kotsay-RH Jones-LH and the long man/possible 12 man pitchers etc..)

 

Have fun making your lineups. I'll post mine a bit later. I'm sure there will be the usual AL prediction/breakout player thread(s) soon as well.

Wow. Looking at this, I realized that we're lacking that definitive 5th batter. I'm not sure about Jones or AJ in that spot. I'm a little depressed all of the sudden.

i think 6 & 7 could be switched if Jones comes on strong...Looks good to me, itd look even better if Lexi once again works on boosting that OBP and can become a good 2 hitter so Beck can be moved into the 3 spot where i think he'll be for a long time. Once/if that happens itd look like....

actually no scratch that after typing it all out i dont want aj or anyone else but lexi in the 9 spot i wanna see rios in the 2 spot just because lexis perfect for the 9 hole so switch rios with lexi, throw lexi in the 9 hole and bump jones and aj up a slot

 

 

Also wouldnt mind if we truly do go to a Kotsay/jones DH and not just Jones what do you guys think of Kotsay in the 2 spot, i think hes a crafty vet whos goof with the stick and since we wouldnt have jones power in the lineup you move everyone down a spot and the lineup looks more beastly
