Is that the going rate for matinee these days? You couldn't pay me money to step inside a movie theater during the day, let alone on a day like today, so I haven't paid matinee prices in years.

I love matinees during the week. No annoying kids, cheaper then nights, and theatre is pretty empty. I usually get movie passes from work but haven't in awhile. This will honestly be the first time I paid for a movie in about a year. Ha

 

Sucks school is almost out because during summers, it's always full of ass clowns.

It depends on the theater. If you go to the one near you, it's $8.00.

It was ok. If someone can watch it and not compare it to the original, like I did, they may really enjoy. It was just ho hum to me because I couldn't help but compare it to the feel and images of Craven's.

 

I thought the story was ok, but the very end was so lame.

It didn't have to be a shot by shot reboot, but how about some images and kills similar to the original. Like when Depp was pulled into the bed and when Freddy had the real long arms.

Haha man when Freddy had those long arms it was ridiculous.. and I know because of the the technology they had back then, but still..

The new trailer was just a rehash of the fake trailer. Pretty weak. Seems to me that they may have rushed it to try and capitalize on all the Arizona-related hubub these days. Although that part when the narrator says that they learned that they "f***ed with the wrong Mexican" gets me every time.

I am so disgusted with myself that I forgot the Iron Man 2 midnight showing was tonight.. im gonna have to go to the first showing tomorrow..

Please don't spoil it, I'm not going until I can have popcorn and drink through a straw, but I'd love iron man opinions
