Rios has had quad and shoulder soreness, although I don't know if that's the reason he isn't starting tonight.

I just love how Stone feels so comfortable proclaiming Matsui one of the game's best clutch hitters. This is the sort of thing that drives me insane during the baseball season.

Doesn't Konerko shave his goatee a couple times a season? It only takes him a week to grow it back.
