Tigers just broadcast-blocked Stony.

Well, it has to come sooner or later. You're not going to abuse somebody like Thornton for so many years and not expect him to get hurt, even if his mechanics are nearly flawless.

He has thrown 7 less innings than Zumaya this year. I think the overuse thing is overrated. He is on pace to throw 80 innings this year.

Just got home. No Hawk today? I always miss the good days.

Jenks. Damn it.

Jenks in to implode.

Yes, but he warms up nearly every game. Very rarely does he get a full rest on a game day. At this point, let's just hope it's nothing that requires surgery.

I don't like Jenks over Pena with the four run lead and non-save situation.

But you have to get him some work so he can TRY to get a feel for his offspeed stuff. Otherwise, if we needed him tmrw against the Angels, he'd really be shaky(ier) coming out of the pen with so much rest.

96 MPH from JENKS, Santos at 95-98, Zumaya was around 100.

Ya I would have put in Pena for sure. Prove me wrong Bobby!

Jenks needs to simply throw 96 MPH fastballs on the corners and see what happenses today no walking guys and s*** like that.

So do most good set up men. Maybe that is why there are not that many of them.

I agree with that statement 100%

Jenks just got one up to 97 MPH.

Avila?! Don Kelly?! I'm sure even Randy Williams can get these guys out.

He would walk them.

He would walk them.

On 4 pitches.

i guess jenks cant

6 consecutive 95 mph fastballs.

Thanks for reverse JENKSING a .216 hitter.

Now you've guaranteed an Ordonez at bat with a chance to tie the game.

It's like the don't talk about no-hitter rule. Every time we say that about a Piranha, they manage to beat us somehow.

I thought the Sox bench was bad but the Tigers is worse. How do they win with Don Kelly playing 5 times a week.....oh wait.....Jenks is unable to put s*** hitters away.....I got a feeling this game is goig not get a lot closer.

Watch Ozzie bring in Randy Williams for Damon if Jackson gets on...

Gas!
