July 6, 201015 yr QUOTE (scenario @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 10:57 PM) Nah. Bosh wants S&T more than a play-date with his friends. Any bets he ends up in Houston? If so, we still have a shot at Wade. Houston's the wildcard in all of this, simply because Bosh would probably love to play next to Yao, and the Raps would get a very good replacement potentially in Luis Scola and Jordan Hill.
July 6, 201015 yr QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 04:58 PM) Agree with all of this. It's up to the Bulls to pull off the Deng to Portland for Przybilla/Bayless, then Noah+ to Toronto for Bosh, then to call Wade and leverage good roster + the fact that we have his children. ...heh, we have his children. It's like NBA Ransom. hahaha

July 6, 201015 yr QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 04:00 PM) I hate Boozer's game with a passion. Adding him to the Bulls, along with Redick would be spending a lot of money for a team with a ceiling around 5th place in the Eastern Conference. So if you get shutout of the big 3, who else do you sign? Do you want to just sit out next year
July 6, 201015 yr QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 11:00 PM) I hate Boozer's game with a passion. Adding him to the Bulls, along with Redick would be spending a lot of money for a team with a ceiling around 5th place in the Eastern Conference. Which is why a lot depends on whether Boozer wants max money, and whether you think you can win with a core of Rose, Redick, Deng, Boozer and Noah. That team has Atlanta type upside at best in the East I'd say.
July 6, 201015 yr Cavs understand there are still looming threats to pry LeBron, but getting Bosh isn't make or break on keeping LBJ. LBJ just doesnt want to go anywhere or the Cavs are overconfident that LBJ doesnt want to go anywhere. Which is it?
July 6, 201015 yr QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 04:02 PM) LBJ just doesnt want to go anywhere or the Cavs are overconfident that LBJ doesnt want to go anywhere. Which is it? Sounds like both to me.
July 6, 201015 yr QUOTE (DBAHO @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 05:00 PM) Houston's the wildcard in all of this, simply because Bosh would probably love to play next to Yao, Plus Bosh is from Texas Plus there is no state income tax
July 6, 201015 yr If Lebron stays in Cleveland, without the Cavs bringing in ANY decent FA.....he's the dumbest player alive. Cleveland offers nothing.
July 6, 201015 yr QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 05:02 PM) LBJ just doesnt want to go anywhere or the Cavs are overconfident that LBJ doesnt want to go anywhere. Which is it? i think LBJ would prefer to stay but really does not want to come back and play with a similar roster he's been playing with the last few years, he probably realizes he can't win with it and is giving Cle all his support to try and make it better and if it doesn't happen he would leave. Why else hasn't he announced he's staying at this point? he's had a ton of media attention of that's all he was looking for.
July 6, 201015 yr Wow, I was bracing myself for Joe Johnson and Carlos Boozer. Now we might be stuck with one of Boozer or Lee only.
July 6, 201015 yr On B&B they were saying the Cavs and LBJ are trying to get Bosh to play in Cleveland... but Bosh is cold to the idea. Sounds like LJB is trying his damnedest to stay in Cleveland but doesn't look like anyone wants to play there. TIFWIW though. Edited July 6, 201015 yr by EvilJester99
July 6, 201015 yr Or maybe Lebron is thinking about leaving, but wants to make sure that before he leaves he does everything in his power to make Cleveland a winner. If he cant get anyone, he can leave and feel that he did his best.
July 6, 201015 yr Sounds like LBJ ain't getting Bosh, which is bad news in terms of us getting Wade (cause it is more likely that Wade/Bosh get the full max in Miami than Chicago, cause Chicago can likely only do it for one of the guys). However, LBJ/Boozer is still a possibility.
July 6, 201015 yr BronBron hasn't chosen a team because he's holding out that the Cavs can grab Bosh I'd love to see the look on his face right now, I'm guessing it would look something like
July 6, 201015 yr The Bulls only hope is that the cavs missing out on Bosh means LBJ can tell Cleveland that he tried, but was unable to lure the players he needed to stay in Cleveland and because of that he'll be going to Chicago where he'll have that opportunity (joining Noah/Rose/and one of Bosh/Boozer/Lee).
July 6, 201015 yr jgoff670 @RicBucher chi fans realize that you can only go so far with a great point guard. You need pieces around/with him. Championship pieces. 2 minutes ago via Echofon i love jason
July 6, 201015 yr QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 05:30 PM) The Bulls only hope is that the cavs missing out on Bosh means LBJ can tell Cleveland that he tried, but was unable to lure the players he needed to stay in Cleveland and because of that he'll be going to Chicago where he'll have that opportunity (joining Noah/Rose/and one of Bosh/Boozer/Lee). What would truly make my day is if LeBron and Wade both said the hell with Bosh and left their respective cities and came to Chicago
July 6, 201015 yr lol, now Bucher says Wade/Bosh are CLEARLY a package deal to CHI or MIA. MAKE UP YER MIND SON!
July 6, 201015 yr QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jul 6, 2010 -> 03:41 PM) lol, now Bucher says Wade/Bosh are CLEARLY a package deal to CHI or MIA. MAKE UP YER MIND SON! The hard part is, you can't get both to come on S&T's, therefor, it is highly unlikley Chicago gets both Wade & Bosh.
July 6, 201015 yr RicBucher Not sure where the idea Tor won't S&T w/Mia came from, but it's not true. Calderon/Bosh for Chalmers, 2 future 1sts + trade exception: done. less than a minute ago via web
July 6, 201015 yr Calderon would be an excellent fit next to Wade actually. I wonder if they'd have enough cap room to fit in both him and Haywood along with Wade though. If so, Miami becomes an instant contender.
