5 millions a year for a 7 footer who can rebound, defend and block shots at the age of 25? It could be a LOT worse.

His contract in relationship to many of the typical "so awful the GM must be trying to lose" contracts? Not bad. His contract in general? Still not good. He averaged 6 and a half points, 4 and half rebounds, and a block a game in 21 minutes last year. I know that means his per 48 numbers are pretty good, but there's a reason he's never averaged above 24 minutes a game. Although I will admit, there always has and always will be a bias to make fun of the "human victory cigar" because of where he went in the draft.

We need to convince Bosh to just tell the Raptors to take Deng in a sign and trade or get nothing in return.

Nobody ever really mentions the 23 to 6 number change for LBJ. Given that you're required to give the league one year notice, that's awfully coincidental.

 

 

I believe LeBron is coming to the Chicago, however Miami does have the number 23 retired as well, so I don't take much stock in the whole number change thing.
