Quentin's 4th HR in 12 career games in Tampa, some of his most impressive bombs have come at the Trop.

I really, really missed him for those games at the end of 2008. That would have been a totally different series.

And the Rays with a s*** defensive play. What the hell am I watching here?

In all likelyhood, this game will end with a Bobby Jenks 1-2-3 save.

The only problem with this game is Danks is already at 35 pitches.

Which means Santos, Putz, Pena and Thornton are going to need to go 4 innings probably.

And how many times can Matty and Santos pitch back-to-back?

Just lost a run there on a horrible, Sosa-esque throw by Upton...but couldn't take the risk with Teahen's lack of foot-speed.

Beckham just can't seem to get going on a consistent basis.

Remember that crazy bomb he hit in Tampa early last year? Just a taste of what we missed out on about a half a year prior.

Gotta love looking for the dark spots in an inning where we take the lead.

If D1 holds this lead he can still go at least 5+. If he's pulled before 5, the Rays will have more than 1 run in.

He's had a lot of those this season I feel, but he's made the right pitch at the right time and also gotten away with a lot of bad pitches. With that said, that's also the sign of a good pitcher.

That's a sign of a top of the rotation -- ACE -- pitcher. It's game over when he's on and he finds a way to get outs when he doesn't have it. It's really what separates him from someone like Gavin Floyd.

Carlos Quentin will hit 25-30 homers this season.

True or false?

More than likely false. And at this moment, I'm much more concerned with his performance in this game.

I already e-mailed the HOF asking for Teahen's glove to be put on permanent display next to Robinson's, Pendleton's and Rolen's.

If he snaps out of it, returns to his 2008 form, and stays healthy, he still hits 30+.

I'll say False until he earns my confidence again. It's like saying I won't believe in G*d until I see a miracle.
