Ducks on the pond for Rios.

  • Author

AJ with a rocket to RF.

Rios doesn't go deep enough, 1 down.

I suppose that works. PK grounds out, Pierre scores.

Up to Kotsay to bring in AJ.

Kotsay's more than late on these pitches Harden is leaving up.

Harden throwing a good 5 mph faster than he did last time we faced him. Good AB by Pierre got this inning started.

Hawk, being in Chicago as often we will be this month is all well and good, but if during this month we continue to feature Mark Kotsay batting fifth and Omar Vizquel as the primary starter at 3rd, well, I just don't know.

Another blown double play. Thanks PK for adding to my comment from earlier today. That was a routine pick.

I don't think that was a good throw by Mark, but Alexei looks totally out of position there.

Paulie probably should have had that scoop too.

Rack 'em up.

Omar sure is very sure handed.

Mark threw it to the wrong side of the bag.

Yeah, and you gotta remember, one failed pick is a real dent on a guy who's supposed defensive addition is nearly always making the pick.

I was being sarcastic!!!!! I even said in my analysis of Konerko's defense that he's good at picking the ball (even though almost all 1B are). The era of non-athletic sluggers playing 1B is coming to an end in the AL it seems, as the big home run guys are fantastic defensively (Tex/Pena)

Quentin really needs to stop f***ing around with his stance.

He looks like Carlos Gomez up there right now.

Edited by chw42

Okay, he should keep messing with his stance.

2-0.

Is he back?

Carlos solo shot!

CQ! That was a short and beautiful swing.

Since when has Quentin used that leg kick?
