He'll get traded during that contract at some point.

If he regresses to his 300 pound days, no one will touch that deal.

The Hawks managed to pull off a 3-1 win last night, but it wasn't without looking like s***. This team is so lazy when it comes to passes out of the zone, and they try to get way too fancy in front of the net vs just shooting the puck. Hossa had 5 shots on goal, but he should have had like 12. He's become Alexei Zhamnov-bad at passing the puck instead of shooting.

Either way, Corey Crawford, I was wrong. You're solid.

game could have been over quickly yesterday w/o him. That first 10 minutes was BAD.

Hawks win! Shootout victory!

We are pretty much to every game being a have to win.

Thank god Kopecky is off the top 6. Now sub him out for Frolik on the 2nd PP unit and your in buisness. Huge 2 points.

God damn we needed that! CC is just getting better and better every game. Nice to see us take a minor league goalie and turn him into a stud (so far). It's funny (and completely unimportant), I use Crawford a good amount in my NHL 11 franchise, and he was just tearing s*** up. I was thinking it was completely unrealistic, but now that he is dominating in real life, I am realizing that NHL 11 must be a prophecy. :0

Then again, CC has like a 0.68 GAA in 12-14 games right now in my franchise. lol.

Kaner's SO goal was sick.

CC coming so far out of the net on SO attempts makes me real nervous, but I like how it shows no fear.

I'd rather have that then Turco's aggressive poke checks.

In case anyone isn't aware, Hawks were down 2-0 and looked like s*** today, but have scored 3 goals in the first 7 minutes of the 2nd period and now lead the Blues 3-2!

Lol, 4-2 now, ridiculous! Sucks I gotta be at work and can't be watching!

2 in a row! We need to rip off 5-6 in a row before I am comfortable, but looking at the standings, it's nice to see we are only 4 pts out of 4th place, even if we are currently in 11th. lol. Talk about a bunched up leaderboard!

This is the time to go on a streak. We need points badly.

Especially with the next 4 games vs. teams right above you in the standings. Win these 4, then you can lose a game or two on the Eastern Conf trip after that.

The Hawks are 2 points out of 5th place, 4 out of 4th. They also have the third highest goal differential in the West.

Hossa was a work-horse yesterday...Played insane at both ends...

I was happy to see him get the tip in at the end yesterday. Hopefully that gets him rolling again, as that would be HUGE>

I was just happy to see him back on the ice after he blocked the 8th consecutive shot from the Blues. He seemed to be in a lot of pain, and I figured he was hurt again. He is seriously the Carlos Quentin of the Hawks.

Hossa gets a pass from me up to this point, having played all the way through the Finals in each of the last 3 years, plus in the Olympics. He has to keep it going from here in though.

Devils are 16-1-2 in their past 19 games. And are still 9 points back of a playoff spot in the East.

Man, they were so awful too.

Blackhawks and Corey Crawford just won their 3rd straight game! Shutout for Crawford! 28 or 29 saves I think.

Six teams have 70 points at this moment in the West. Nuts.

I thought I heard 31. Anyway, he was huge.
