Arthur Rhodes used to wear giant diamond earrings on the mound. On a particularly sunny day in Seattle the light was reflecting off them and distracting Omar at the plate so he asked that they be removed. Needless to say Arthur was none too pleased with this request. The benches ended up clearing. Rhodes was a ejected and called Omar a midget after the game.

Wonder how much Putz will get on the open market?

 

He's back up to 95-96 with the fastball, along with the nasty splitter. Does KW dare make a play for him? Does he dare bring back Jenks?

 

Personally, I think we're better off with Thornton in his current role.
