I say this after every trade KW makes that looks bad but has someone suggesting "wait, this is just part of a larger deal!" If Jackson was even likely to go to Washington, the Sox wouldn't have made the deal, they'd have waited and tried to make it a 3 way deal that gets sent to the Commish. You don't complete the first deal unless you want the guy in the first deal, because the final deal can always fall apart.
