Beating King Felix was the hard part, the next three games should be a piece of cake. :gosox3:

Part 2 of the sweep.

*CLAP*

Floyd is really dropping that ERA. Let's keep it going.

On another note. Has anyone seen an offense as bad as what Seattle runs out there everynight. Yikes.

1.15 over his last 9 starts :o

This looks like such an obvious win for us that it actually kind of scares me it could go the other way. Was at the game last night and will be again tonight, hopefully another win is in the cards. :headbang

You haven't looked at the bottom of the NL Central recently have you?

I don't know. IMO, McCutchen, Alvarez, Jones > Ichiro, Guitierrez, Figgins, Lopez. Especially this season. It doesn't do much good to have a leadoff hitter like Ichiro when no one else can knock him in.

You know, you're right. The Mariners have actually scored fewer runs this year than the Pirates.

In the AL, that's an accomplishment.

Seattle is last ever major team hitting stat. Batting .235 as a team. Although the Astro and Pirate are right there.

Rowland-Smith really is as bad as his ERA suggests. He has a 1:1 BB/K ratio resulting in a 6.53 FIP. It's really hard to have an FIP around 6...

Every time I see Floyd, he pitches a gem.

it is really crazy that Wakamatsu is batting Lopez cleanup with his .236/.268/.334 line. at this point you might as well say f*** it and put Ichiro there and give him as many opportunities possible to drive in runs

Wakamatsu's not a smart guy.

Or how about your 23-year old left fielder who might be important to the future of your club?

I looked at their lineup and saw their averages and RBIs, and my god is it sad. 2010 White Sox April-May sad.

Saw that game last night. Always fun winning. Danks pitched great and set the bar for Gavin. Go get em Floyd!

It really is sad that Ichiro is being wasted in Seattle.

If he played for the Yankees he could be the most recognizable faces in all sports worldwide.

He really is fun to watch play baseball.

These match ups which on paper look like a sure thing always make me nervous. I hope G gets up for it still, like he did vs. Felix last week.

With this Mariners offense, that should continue. But you never know with these things...

BTW, where's Russell Branyan?

Branyan has been dealing with a sore back, could return to the lineup tonight.
