Not a single NL team put a claim in for Laroche who's having a very good 2nd half once again and is healthy but they will put in a claim for a guy who can;t field and has been on the DL 3 times this year?

The Giants have already acquired Jose Guillen, Cody Ross, and Pat Burrell. They already had Andres Torres tearing it up, with Aaron Rowand & Nate Scheirholtz as part-timers. I think that OF may be a bit too crowded for Manny.

Kind of awkward though that on the day you honor a guy who did it cleanly, you invite in a guy who didn't.

 

Yet I dont have nearly as big a problem with it as some here do. I just want to win.

I'd be surprised if the Sox didn't claim him. The major hurdle, I think, is whether he clears the NL.
