sale is in. and he already got a bling bling necklace. and a freaking walk.

Not a great start there, Sale.

You would think Ozzie would have brought him into a less stressful situation.

I think it's a bit early to call him "the left-handed Black Jack McDowell."

That will sure endear you to Ozzie.

hope the kid doesn't lose me a lot of dough

I really was hoping that Sale would only be used in a game where the Sox were already losing.

I hope for the best and maybe he just needs to calm down, but this is a damn hard position to put a guy in.

Another brilliant premiere performance for a White Sox rookie pitcher.

Bringing in a guy for his MLB debut in a 1-1 game. Nice decision Oz.

Well, he throws harder than McDowell. Now, if he could just locate it somewhere un-awful.

ozzie...what a stupid move. markakis seems to always kill us.

Well that was a baptism by fire, resulted in a totally forgettable debut.

Up higher or in the dirt kid. Sale gone. Roberts and Markasis have been on base all game.

Against the top of the lineup no less

Bad debut

Another unbelievably bone headed move by the Ozmeister here. Should we end up losing, this is 100% on Ozzie.

We hope it's forgettable.

Well an 0-2 pitch is where you want to throw a ball.

The good news is his fastball looks good, but you gotta give him a chance to succeed.

I was excited to see his breaking stuff when the count went 0-2. No such luck.

s*** now we need someone to bail the kid and we have to look to Pena. Come on T-pain.

The kid is a rail...but I like his delivery.

Markakis is also one of the best lefty vs. lefty hitters in the game (not that Ozzie looks at splits)

Well, he's a type we're not that familiar with -- an outfielder that comes up through the minor leagues and is good in the majors.

Well, these guys have to pitch sometime. Would you rather have linebrink or Pena out there?

Sale then Pena...fun 8th inning will ensue.

But, I guess we have no choice other than Pena.

ya know...still...one run against the friggin O's is pathetic.

This is turning out well.

Losing the opening game in terrible fashion to the worst professional baseball team around.
