August 25, 201015 yr QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Aug 24, 2010 -> 10:12 PM) I'm just relieved more than anything right now. Yeesh. Interesting choice of words.
August 25, 201015 yr another strong performance for g, even if he did it with smoke and mirrors huge hr by gordo sale is a stud and there arent enough superlatives for how clutch that was by bobby. comes in 3-0 on the batter no outs 1st and 3rd up 3 and gets out of it with the win. wow
August 25, 201015 yr All I have to say is Jenks That's how a good closer should pitch. He seems to perform better under more pressure. It was nice to see him perform like that.
August 25, 201015 yr Kudos for Jenks stepping it up lately. We need him to be the old Bobby for this stretch run.

August 25, 201015 yr I guess the only bright side to Sergio's performance is now we know Putz is hurt a day earlier.
August 25, 201015 yr I'm on vacation but followed the last couple outs via mlb at-bat. I hope this means that the Beckham we know and love is back. This is yet another positivie sign pointing in that direction.

This is yet another positivie sign pointing in that direction. Still find it puzzling that he is batting last in the lineup. He's been one of our most productive and consistent hitters since the ASB and gets the least amount of ABs. 2nd Half: .342/.398/.558/.957 5 HR 23 RBIs Edited August 25, 201015 yr by BigSqwert

August 25, 201015 yr QUOTE (Vance Law @ Aug 25, 2010 -> 04:08 PM) You are aware of who makes the lineups aren't you? How do you know he's not doing well because of the way the manager has used him? The manager has had faith in him all season when just about everybody on here wanted him sent down to the minors. Read the old threads.

What would it take for you to objectively critique ANYTHING that Ozzie does?
August 25, 201015 yr QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Aug 25, 2010 -> 03:05 PM) What would it take for you to objectively critique ANYTHING that Ozzie does? You know you are the exact opposite of that right?

The manager has had faith in him all season when just about everybody on here wanted him sent down to the minors. Read the old threads. Putting him in the 9th spot, even when he has been hitting better, can't be too good on his confidence. Thing is, you and I don't know if Ozzie hitting him 9th is good or bad for him. Hell, nobody truly knows. But from the looks of his numbers since the ASB, moving him up would be a good idea. He can't be getting any good pitches to hit with Juan Pierre behind him. August 25, 201015 yr QUOTE (RockRaines @ Aug 25, 2010 -> 05:41 PM) You know you are the exact opposite of that right? Except BigSqwert actually uses some sort of numbers to back up whatever he posts. Edited August 25, 201015 yr by chw42
