Captain Cheeseburger is going down.

We need Danksy to step up and pitch like the guy we know he can be. I feel like he's let us down in a few big starts this year (although he has certainly stepped it up a few times as well). Step it up, John. This is one of those games where you put us on your back and carry us.

Mariners look worse than ever against the Twins. You have guys like Gutierrez dropping pretty easy fly balls...yuck!

Nick Blackburn comes into that game with something like a 7 ERA and now he's Cy Young against the Mariners.

 

Between the A's and Mariners' offenses, that's a lot of suckage. Can't imagine sitting through 18 games between those two teams as an announcer. I guess the positive would be the fact those games would be over pretty quickly...unless they went to extra innings with neither team scoring.
