nice job edwin

Pretty surprised Hafner has his OPS all the way up to 832, but I still wouldn't touch that contract with a 10 foot pole.

Jackson averaging 11 K's and 2 BB's per start now with the Sox. Once again, Don Cooper's contribution, a very simple one. He got Jackson to stand more upright, thus creating more downward plane and action on his pitches.

Quentin with a season like Beckham's 2009 at USCF, 7/24 HR's on the road.

Playing bad baseball teams is like playing free online poker with a kid. You're actually trying to win by setting your opponent up, but the kid keeps going all-in because there's nothing to lose

he just hacks at everything any more

a pitcher that has walked 69 guys and quentin goes swinging a la Juan Uribe.

Not sure if I like the approach vs Masterson here, he will walk the world if you let him.

haha hawk: and here is our designated hitter....kotsay....

HAHA. Even Hawk sounded annoyed saying "and here's our DH, Kotsay".

Kotsay grounds out to 2nd, while Manny is snoozing in the dugout, life is good :)

so ozzie thinks that manny is tired but what it looks like is that our hitters are tired and they just want to be done with tonight's game.

Wow...we really have relied on Jackson to shut down the opponent almost every time out.

Have we scored more than 3 runs for him? Maybe once.

...who goes out on the 1st pitch from a guy with control problems. Pressing Mark?

Awesome at bat by our designated hitter. Scalded that one but a terrific play by the first baseman.

yeah if it's a close ballgame late i want to see manny pinch hit over watching the typical kotsay ground out

Unf***ing real.

This is what I found confusing. We are in a pennant race and get a .300 plus hitter and not use him when we only have about 30 some games to play. Every game he isn't in there puts us at risk of wasting that hitter. When aren't folks tired after flying or playing late games, but in baseball you get right back in there

lol Carlos Quentin. WTF

What a joke this team and organization is.

Great.

A bunch of clowns out there.

It's too bad they didn't trade him at the deadline.

Cy Masterson is on the hill tonite for Cleveland (or at least he will look like a cy young winner if we don't bear down)

Now that's the defense of a playoff team! At least Carlos didn't take another crappy at-bat of this into the field!
