This team will make minor moves this offseason and I am fine with that if they are legitimate minor moves and not bringing Kotsay back is one of them.

MLBN was talking MVP and the guy with the Jays was in the talk with no Konerko. Konerko has as good a stats as Cabrera.

I cannot see the Sox ever bringing him into their organization after the fights he got in with their minor league affiliates. Also, unless we traded Danks, I'm sure Dodgers could get a much better package for him. I will say that the more I watch Quentin, the more I think he's finished with this organization. Hopefully some team views his '08 stats and thinks they can fix him.

Some explain to Hawk that good hitters are 2-0 becauce pitchers to not want them to beat them where as s*** hitters are 0-2 because pitchers to not fear them......Quentin is as about as useless as a player could be right now.

Beckham's hand injury must still be bugging him, as he's swinging with no authority at the plate. He hasn't hit a line drive in ages.

Now that's a guy I wouldn't have minded trading Hudson for. He's got serious 5-tool potential and is only 26, I think.

I really think nobody cares and are just happy they were entertining until mid-August.

Watching the MLB show episode where Kenny's advisors give him their view on the "pitcher with the 5 ERA in the NL" versus the kid was disgusting. Pretty much it sounded like any vet pitcher is worth it in a pennant race over Hudson.

 

Our short sited "all in" mentality is going to doom us to overspending for aging talent and pray for fixer uppers.

 

 

We've left so many on base against the Twins this year. I'd love to see the stat. Has to be huge.
