October 12, 201015 yr QUOTE (Milkman delivers' date :) ='Oct 12, 2010 -> 08:29 AM) When are these being posted? They're not. Knightni just collects lists and we oblige him when we have nothing better to do.
October 12, 201015 yr Next Monday. Hopefully sooner because I wanna start some actual discussion on the lists.
October 12, 201015 yr It'll be interesting after the countdown is complete seeing everyone's lists. I have quite a few movies that many wouldn't consider in their top 100, but they're among my favorites because they're entertaining more than being legitimately scary.
October 17, 201015 yr QUOTE (knightni @ Oct 15, 2010 -> 05:56 PM) The first chance that I will have to start the list will be Tuesday. Does that mean I can still submit a list?
October 19, 201015 yr Author QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Oct 19, 2010 -> 06:23 PM) Is this happening? I'm adding up stuff tonight.
October 20, 201015 yr QUOTE (Flash Tizzle @ Oct 19, 2010 -> 05:51 PM) 20. Troll -- on everyone's list I know you meant troll 2.
October 21, 201015 yr QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Oct 20, 2010 -> 10:48 PM) Horror comedies are lame. Shaun of the Dead says go f*** yourself.
October 21, 201015 yr Author I'm going to do 4 or 5 a night for 10 days. Hopefully, ending on Halloween.
October 21, 201015 yr QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Oct 20, 2010 -> 09:04 PM) I believe Ernest Scared Stupid was the only one ny my list Aren't all Ernest movies horror movies?
October 21, 201015 yr QUOTE (BigEdWalsh @ Oct 21, 2010 -> 08:25 AM) Aren't all Ernest movies horror movies? +1
October 21, 201015 yr Two of mine have made the list so far. I almost added Army of Darkness, but I ended up just including The Evil Dead. Although a horror movie, Army of Darkness is a bit more comedy. Regardless, Sam Raimi is a genius. By the way, did anyone catch the Evil Dead-esque scene in Spiderman 2?

October 21, 201015 yr QUOTE (knightni @ Oct 20, 2010 -> 11:31 PM) I'm going to do 4 or 5 a night for 10 days. Hopefully, ending on Halloween. Very nice touch my hat is off to you I'd be interested in reading from those that like the genre, what makes a great horror movie? The scared teenagers getting slashed just doesn't seem that difficult of a genre, perhaps that's why we have all the copy cat stuff. It seems that horror and comedies just never receive any respect.
October 21, 201015 yr I'm suprised that Return of the Living Dead made the list. I love that movie. I thought Creepshow would be ranked a little higher.
October 21, 201015 yr The Biography channel had a cool documentary on Nightmare on Elm Street last night. I think they're doing Halloween this Monday night.

I agree. And that's why I thought Scream was such a good movie. It definitely poked fun at the genre while actually being a pretty scary movie at the same time.
