Oh no, I don't care at all. I was just saying that it'd probably be a wasted thread.

what would be a wasted thread? im just asking that unofficial spoilers be linked as opposed to pasted to the thread. that way someone browsing the thread isnt forced to look at a leaked on set pic

Haha, the end of Final Destination 5 was pretty cool

Oh, I kind of went off with my own idea I guess. Thinking that there was going to be just a thread for spoilers for all kinds of movies.

Ridley Scott continuing to revisit his past

Not that I mind, of course

I did not understand the hype of Blade Runner. Perhaps it was cool looking in its time, but I watched it and it was just plain boring.

I thought it was pretty clever. The death scenes were really fun in 5 but the acting will always sucks in these movies.

Wonder if they got the original actors from 1 for that shot or if it was unused footage or something.

I agree with you. I watched it in college and thought it was pretty bad actually.

I saw it for a film study class in college for the first time and I had the same reaction. I went back a few months later and watched it and I was definitely impressed. Having said that, I'm not excited that it's getting remade; let it be.

Legally? Ridley Scott directed the original. Couldn't he remake it if he wanted?

Count me as one of the big Blade Runner fans. The future noir look and feel of the film has had a profound impact on how Hollywood depicts dystopian future settings. And between this film and The Hitcher, Rutger Hauer probably gave us the two best ubervillain portrayals of the 1980s.

The tempo and pacing of the film is challenging for sure. It's not exactly action-packed. But I think that it effectively conveys the slogging, hopeless existence of any of those poor schmucks who have the misfortune of being alive during the early 21st century.

So I went and saw Fright Night at midnight (it was good) and there were two girls directly behind us and then a bunch of teens in the back row, all loud for about half of the movie.. well my pregnant fiance is starting to get pretty upset about this, so I finally got to do something ive always wanted to do but never could before..

So the two girls behind us were talking, not whispering, just about non stop.. finally, I turned around and said "Hey, can you shut the f*** up please" and not only did they stop talking period, the teens in the back stopped making noise as well.. it was quite satisfying

Exit through the Gift Shop is Brilliant! Incredible, must watch.

Warner Bros-based financing and production company Alcon secured the franchise rights to the property back in March in a deal which very specifically stated they could essentially do what they wanted with the exception of one thing - they could NOT remake the original. Broderick Johnson and Andrew Kosove will produce.

"in other news, a flash mob of teenage girls beat and left for dead a man known only as T R U. no motives are known at this time, but it is rumored that he told them to stfu at a movie theater. the girls immediately tweeted to the entire 8th grade cheerleading squad, which showed up when the movie was over and beat the ever living hell out of T R U. he is resting comfortably at North Houston Community hospital with a severely bruised ego"

You should know I was talking about his pregnant gf... I'd rather take my chances with the group of 8th grade girls who just found out Beiber cancelled than the pregnant significant other...
