The White Sox trade whats left in their farm system for Carl Everett and Roberto Alomar, both file reinstatemnt papers upon the trade, but are the first players to be rejected on reinstatement by MLB offices.

Hot Fire will seize the 3B job by May 1st, make 40 errors, and fail to draw a walk in 450 ABs.

Ouch. I hope Hot Fire doesn't accomplish any of those 3 things, even playing 3B (meaning he is failing in the OF)

Jake Peavy will win play in 20 games.........15 games.....12??????

fixed?

Edwin Jackson will win 20 games.

Edwin Jackson will not make the playoff rotation.

That's actually two predictions. I like.

Sergio Santos spends time at Closer this year

Phil Humber wins multiple games for the Sox in 2011

Paul Konerko hits half as many homers as 2010

Greg Walker finally gets fired

Gordon Beckham is named 2011 ALL-STAR starter

Collectively on this board we will consider Carlos Quentin to be a much more dangerous hitter than Adam Dunn as the Sox head to the playoffs.

...and that's not saying that Dunn will have a down year.

Does Cano go down with an injury?

I agree though, I think Gordon's going to have a big year.

That would be a disaster and another albatross contract on the Sox's hands.

The White Sox will be involved in at least two bench-clearing brawls.

Hopefully at least one will be against the Twins - with Paul Konerko charging the mound.

Beckham hits .340

This sounds crazy on the surface, but I also expect a huge breakout year for our 2B. Maybe closer to .320.

Here's a crazy one. The Sox clinch the division on the same day that Paulie and the Donkey both hit their 400th career HR. Dunn's 46th, Paulie's 35th of the season.

Exactly. f*** the suspensions our best players would receive and hurting our possibility of making the playoffs. As long as we get a few punches in, and we all know how great the fights on fields have been, this team would be considered a success.

I don't know about you, but I measure success by wins and losses versus expectations.

Quentin will be TCQ again and will be moved to 3rd in the batting order while Dunn gets moved to 5th and becomes the new Soxtalk whipping boy for his K's. Peavy will tear his rotator cuff before the All-star break. Pierre and Beckham both hit .300 giving TCQ, Paulie and Dunn all chances for 100 RBI seasons. Milledge will be the Sox pinch hitter extraordinaire.

Pretty sure he was being sarcastic.

Yup

Paul Konerko wins MVP.

Edwin Jackson will win 20 games and sign a contract extension with the Sox.

And if he wins 20 games he'll command 5/75. No thanks. Especially when we still have a much better pitcher in Danks to worry about.

The Sox will get down on Fridays, winning at a better than .750 clip to start weekends. Fun fun fun.

Danks will be getting 7 or 8 years if he puts up those kind of numbers, which roughly translates to not a chance in hell.

He meant Jackson will get 5/75 if Jackson puts up those #'s.
