It hasn't even been 24 hours since Sale last pitched. They played a game quite late last night, he pitched 2 innings, and they trot him out the next afternoon? Which manager does that besides Ozzie? None.

Which one of his pitches was affected by fatigue? The two hard fastballs that were out of the zone or the nice breaking balls down that were all hit.

bases loaded, 1 out, ozzie to the mound... sticking with crain for some reason.

You're right. It was an excellent choice to bring him back out. He did a superb job.

Thornton will either get a huge boost of confidence or be lost for the rest of the season after this.
