White Sox @ Rays, 04/18 THREAD

Sample size much?

Yeah, but he's a rookie who is not proven in the major leagues. This sample size is all that we have to work with for him being an everyday starter on a team trying to win a division. So far, it's not good. I am aware of what he has shown in the minors, so I don't want him benched yet, but the early returns aren't very good.

Need a W tonight. :gosox1:

Really a AAA line-up for the Rays tonight without Damon and Upton.

Which probably means we'll lose.

Jackson seemingly pitches pretty well against his former team, and Price isn't the type of starter who typically tears through out line-up.

Dunn with a needed day off.

Didn't realize Rios was 7/11 (.636) with 2 HR's against Price. Konerko's 6/12 as well.

Beckham just got overpowered. Way to shorten up a bit.

I knew Rios being 7 for 11 against Price meant nothing. So typical.

Nice to see Sox are good at leaving 2 guys LOB an inning!

Come on Rios...his mechanics at the plate are awful. He has no ability to pull the ball with authority. He's fouled off so many meatballs this season to the right side.

This Rays lineup is weak. We shouldn't have problems. This game on paper is a blowout in our favor.

David Price says hello. And no lineup with Pierre, Morel, Castro and Lillibridge = blowout on paper

im never sure how accurate the pitch tracker on gameday is, but price was popping 97 with what looked like ridiculous movement

Fuld is my PTC

Opponents are killing the Sox with 2 outs last few games!

Yep, and we can't get a freaking hit with 2 outs to save our lives. This Tampa lineup is absolutely pathetic.

Weeeeeeeeeeee

Bad combo to have for a baseball team.

MAKE IT STOP! Terrible mojo with the Sox right now. Edwin with two mediocre starts since his high pitch count game.

Ironic that Tampa has one guy with power in their lineup...and he homers

The only good thing about this game is the sound, with Hawk barely audible.

Ejax can easily work it out and shut them down for the next 6. Have to battle.

WTF? Thought it started at 6? Glad I missed the 1st

Price is pitching away, away, away so far.

haha! we truly have some slow as s*** players on this team
