Dunn's bat speed seems to have been removed when he lost his appendix. Too bad Rios didn't get to bat to go 0 for his last 25.

RALLY RALLY!!!! Haha. 10 runs with 1 out to play with? I'm not so sure.

Bases juiced. Might as well get a run or two and maybe get some momentum for tomorrow?

Nice AB Brent

At least they went down swinging.

Called strike 3 to end the game? About sums it up.

I'd rather they keep losing :) Lower attendance and better chance of coaching staff being fired. Winning a game here and there would be detrimental more than positive unless they literally turn into a different team and win tons of games in a row which aint happenin'

Well, time to go check the minor league games...........

Don't feel like going through the entire thread because I think it will be as depressing as the game looked, but can some one tell me why Becko was pulled?

All the backups were used in the last few innings. I assume so the starters can get a little rest before the early game tomorrow? Or maybe because none of the starters did anything all game.

I don't understand this.

It's April. Do you want a season from hell and no fun baseball this summer?

I really think they should fire KW or Ozzie right now. I mean, unless they don't want to eat the salaries.

The month of April is now classified as a disaster. That's one month of the season.

Teams have fired guys in April before. I guarantee you Ozzie wouldn't be surprised if he got canned.

He knows the drill.

I just want something to happen. Don't sit idle with a bad team and insult the fan base by saying Brad Penny and Wade Davis are fearsome pitchers.

Exactly.

Brad Penny? My god. I'm assuming we had a lot of lazy pop ups and a few line drives right at outfielders.

The Sox fired Gene Lamont 31 games into 1995 with an 11-20 record after back to back division titles. The problem is they replaced him with Terry Bevington. If the Sox have someone better than Ozzie available to take over, fine, but if its just another organizational guy, why bother?

Yeah, if you put it that way I see your point. Buddy Bell would be about as exciting a hire as Bevington.

Getting spanked by a not so good Tigers club, again....OUCH.

Mayhaps we stink more?

It seems the Sox have a real bad streak every year, even in 2005 when their huge lead was cut to game 1.

This is why those games the bullpen blew earlier this season were so damn big. We all knew this long roadtrip was coming, and things might turn out this way. Instead of 11-10 or whatever we're 8-13 and things look way worse than they otherwise would. So predictable...
