May 14, 201114 yr Pitched well but could certainly be argued that we won a game in which we were outplayed. Good teams get wins like this, glad we had one go our way. Happy to have another WGN broadcast that I can see here in Memphis.

I think a caller to the Score suggested the Mexican Assassin. Sounded cool to me, but is probably in bad taste with real people getting assassinated in Mexico all too frequently. Oakland had one decent inning. Funny how other teams load the bases with nobody out and find a way to score 3 minimum though. It could easily have been an extra innings loss if we were still playing horribly. Oakland steals home to tie it and eventually wins it in a walkoff. None of us would have been surprised at that outcome. Horrible offense tonight, though. Lot of horrible pop ups and bad at bats. So what though. Sox won. A great win considering the opponent.
