In a situation that would have wasted Dunn anyways, bringing in Vizquel in that situation is a no-brainer.

Right, you waste McPherson to get Oliver in to face Omar and Dunn is available for later in the game

Neftali it is.

The problem was...he gave up an out by bunting AJ over to 2b, so yeah, he was looking to play small ball.

In a game the Sox trailed by 1 in the 8th, two of the last six outs were directly caused by the managers decision making. That's pretty impressive.

I'm saying he wasn't asking DUNN to play small ball. He wanted Dunn for his power, not for his bunting or bat handling skills.

Neftali has control issues.

Swing at first pitch!

Precisely

Damnit Alexei, Neftali's walking a guy an inning and Alexei swings first pitch

What a dumb team we have.

This dude has 12 walks in 15 innings, so lets go first pitch swinging, Alexei...

I'm sure Walker went over the scouting report in great detail.

Feliz is walking 7.2 per nine innings. TAKE SOME DAMN PITCHES!

This game was lost when Dunn struck out.

Maybe Ozzie might not want to use him against a lefty in a pressure situation until he actually gets a hit off a lefty in a non-pressure situation.

Do we have a reasonable pinch runner on the bench?

No

you mean like that?

Save us Konerko.

Feliz is clearly not healthy. He has absolutely zero control and is walking just about everyone.

hawk just jinxed it with DP talk

Omar? How fast is Humber?

Make it simple...just don't play him at all against LHP. Promote Viciedo and DH him against LHP while getting him accustomed to LF once in a while.

How about one more walk for a Rios GIDP!

6 straight balls by Feliz.

With Feliz control issues Dunn would be a good idea for Rios should a man get on... oh wait.

After Alexei swung at pitch 1.
