Hawk's Irrational Dream Team

Featured Replies

So who are the players that Hawk seems to have a love for even though they're not exactly all star players? I can think of the following:

- Carlos Gomez (Team Captain)

- Kurt Suzuki

- Randy Ruiz

- Brandon Inge

- Matt Harrison

Can Rusty Greer be a bench coach? He used to love that guy.

He got strep throat from all the gagging he did on Jemile Weeks last weekend.

I swear, every time we faced the A's last year, he told the same story of how great Suzuki is and how smart the A's were for locking him up to a multi-year deal.

Any Carlos Gomez-like player.

Erstad has to be included on this, as well as any pitcher drafted in the 8th round or lower out of college because they had to fight to make the majors.

I'm sure Carl Yastrzemski would be pretty terrible right now.

I think he was on Toronto last year. Hawk had a 9 inning erection every game we played them discussing how strong he was.

I'd like to see Hawk be a part of a franchise-player draft.

He already did that once...

Well, I'd like to see him do one today.

BTW, doesn't Hawk like Delmon Young a lot?

The title Worst General Manager ever comes to mind.

I can't say I remember him. Either way, Wikipedis says he's now in Japan after 217 MLB career at-bats. Sounds exactly like a player Hawk would fall in love with.

Sadly...I'm not sure that's wrong.

Basically players with minimal to no talent catches Hawk's fancy. Just like our manager.

You can bring Juan Pierre into any thread... it's impressive.

There better be a f***ing Catfish Hunter mention somewhere in this thread...

Who the f*** was the mediocre infielder on the Tigers early 2000s I wanna say that Hawk always said "swung the magic wand" against us?
